WEATHER ALERT!!! We will be opening tomorrow, Thursday, May 9th.
However, the heavy rains prevented us
from having stone delivered this week
to alleviate the problems experienced
in the past with the drive through a wet,
slippery field. The entrance will be
closed to vehicles tomorrow and possibly
until next week as the weather isn't
promising for Friday and Saturday either.
We apologize for the inconvenience
but welcome any visitors who would like to
walk in!

Spring, 2013 update! We regret that we will not be traveling to any Botanical Garden Fairs in 2013. We will miss seeing all the loyal customers who have visited our booth every year. However, we would be thrilled if you make a trip to visit us in Lexington because we've got exciting news!!!
As some of you know, Debbie suffered a severe ankle injury in July, 2011, with surgery in March, 2012. The nursery has been closed for almost two years but we're thrilled to announce that we will reopen on Thursday, May 9th with a new retail sales area! We will be open three days a week until June 1st with retail hours of 9:00-2:00 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We'll be celebrating our annual Open House on the last weekend of the spring season, May 30, 31 and June 1, when we'll offer you the opportunity to help reduce our inventory with bargain priced perennials - $5.00 each! For more information and directions, visit our Open House page. We have moved our entire nursery operation to our home. Improvements have been made to the sales area to make your visit more enjoyable and we also have a new restroom facility for our visitors. Because we won't be traveling every weekend this spring we can also be a little more accommodating for anyone wishing to make an appointment to visit on days we don't have normal business hours. As always, our display gardens are open for you to tour while visiting us and you'll see new additions this year! Even though Debbie wasn't able to work at the nursery or play in the gardens during her recovery, she was able to create more garden art and her creations are displayed throughout the gardens. We'll also be offering some of her creations for sale this spring! And more exciting news!! It's always been difficult for our customers to reach us by telephone because we either weren't available when we were at the nursery without a phone or we were traveling every spring. We now have a new cellphone so you can call us when you have any questions! Don't let the "207" confuse you, you really WILL reach us at this number! (207) 831-9215 |
